The Grant/Cleveland Ski Racing Team was founded in 2006 by Head Coach Randy Hewitt. We are proud to announce that our team includes racers from several Portland area high schools, including Grant, Cleveland, Franklin, Benson & McDaniel!  Membership on the team is open to anyone on the east side of the Portland metropolitan area within our League's boundaries.  We are part of the Mt. Hood League which includes teams from Hood River Valley, The Dalles, Sandy and Barlow, and St. Mary's, as well as the schools represented on our team.

Our philosophy is simple - we create an environment where high school skiers can learn skiing skills that lead to racing competency in a safe, fun environment. Our coaches and parent helpers get involved and stay involved throughout the season. Naturally, each student has his/her personal motivation for wanting to join our high school ski team so as team leaders we try to identify those, which makes for a successful participation for each individual student.

Our ski family is growing every year, so spread the news so others join the most inclusive, skill-building, memory-making, citizen-honing high school activity in Oregon.
