Mark your calendar for the Annual Team Summit Ski and Snowboard Swap!  Happening Friday, October 23rd, through Sunday, October 25th at the Copper Conference Center at Copper Mountain Resort!  

Buy new and used skis, snowboards, boots, clothing, and accessories at bargain prices while raising money for Team Summit’s Scholarship Fund!

We’re excited to welcome you to Team Summit Colorado’s Annual Ski Swap! Whether you’re clearing out your gear closet or finding new equipment, this event helps support our athletes and programs. Below are the key details and guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for all consignors.

Consignment Pick Up
Any items not picked up by 6pm the Sunday of the Swap are considered a donation to Team Summit Colorado.

Consignment Splits
Consigners retain 70% of the sale while Team Summit Colorado retains 30% to support operations and scholarships for our community.

FAQ
What is the "Red Dot" or "EOS Discount?"
The EOS Discount means the item will be discounted on the last day of the sale. These items are marked with a red dot. Consigners choose the discount amount. Team Summit will NOT ever assign a discount without the consignor's consent.

Who sets the price for my item?
The consignor sets the price and EOS Discount. 
Consider the following:
Do you want the item out of your garage? Price it to sell?
Do you want to come back on Sunday to pick up the item if it doesn't sell? Price it high.
On the fence? Price it in the middle with a discount.
Team Summit will NOT set the price of an item; this is the responsibility of the consignor.

I am told my bindings are indemnified; what does indemnified mean?
Indemnified means the gear is no longer serviceable and should not be used for its intended purpose. We understand you may have spent thousands for your kit 20 years ago. However, plastic degrades in the sun, or manufacturers and ski shops will stop servicing older gear.  When this happens, your gear should no longer be used for its intended purpose. Check the manufacturer's website to see if your gear is indemnified before bringing it to the swap.

What happens with the leftover gear?
Team Summit Coaches carry skis, boards, helmets, and boots to ensure the athlete is not restricted by equipment issues.  Sometimes this is used for an athlete to try a new discipline without spending $ 1000s, such as an Alpine racer looking to try SG, GS, or SL for the first time. Sometimes, an athlete simply needs replacement gear prior to a competition. 
Coaches only request gear AFTER Consignment Pick-Up between 3pm and 6pm on the Sunday after the swap.
Other items not picked up by coaches are sold or donated to support our community.

How can I just donate my equipment?
Team Summit is happy to accept new or gently used donations!  Just let us know when you are consigning your items, and we will take the appropriate action. 
If you decide you want to donate your gear to the team after you've consigned your gear, simply don't pick up your items during Consignment Pick-Up on Sunday between 3pm-6pm.
